Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 and at the time was the tallest structure in Japan. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Japanese architect Tachū Naitō designed this engineering feat, built with recycled steel from dismantled American war tanks after World War II. Initially, its main function was to serve as a transmission tower for television and radio, playing a crucial role in the country's communication for decades.
With your ticket to Tokyo Tower, you'll gain access to the tower's main observation deck, sitting at a height of 150 m (492 feet). From here, you'll enjoy a spectacular view of Tokyo.
