Experience the Rio de Janeiro Carnival from the inside with this unique activity. You’ll parade through the legendary Sambadrome with an authentic samba school, wearing an original made-to-measure costume.
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and head to the iconic Sambadrome to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience.
Once there, we’ll help you get dressed in your “fantasia,” the name given to samba school costumes. Did you know that creating these outfits can take up to 1 year? Just imagine all the detail that goes into them!
You’ll then enter the staging area with the other members of the samba school, who’ll place you in the appropriate section according to your costume. That’s when you’ll start to feel the adrenaline and pride of representing this Brazilian cultural tradition.
With everything ready, the best moment arrives! You’ll parade through the legendary Sambadrome to the infectious rhythm of the drums, surrounded by color, lights, and joyful smiles. The crowd will cheer from the stands, the drums will pound, and samba will take over your soul. It’s a thrill you can only understand by living it.
After the parade, we’ll take you back to your hotel, where we’ll say goodbye with your heart still racing after a total of 5 hours of experience. You’ll live Carnival like a true sambista!
The tour includes pickup from hotels in the South Zone (Copacabana, Leme, Botafogo, and Flamengo) and has specific meeting points in downtown Rio de Janeiro. If your accommodation is located in another area, you’ll need to contact us to arrange an alternative meeting point.
To ensure everything fits perfectly, it’s essential that after booking, you contact us to provide your clothing and shoe sizes. This will allow the costume to be properly adjusted to your measurements.
Please note that this activity doesn’t include admission to watch the rest of the samba school parades. Once our participation in the parade ends, we’ll return directly to your hotel. The exact pickup time will be confirmed the day before the activity.
