Visit the Alhambra

This guided tour of the Alhambra includes an admission ticket to Generalife and its gardens, the Alcazaba and the Palace of Charles V. We'll explore these monumental areas while discovering the different historic periods that this palatial complex, declared a World Heritage Site, has witnessed. You'll do all this accompanied by an English-speaking guide.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet next to the Alhambra ticket office. Are you ready to explore one of Spain's most famous monuments?

On this tour, we'll visit the beautiful gardens of the Generalife, whose origins date back to the 13th century, and we'll admire the Alcazaba, the main defensive structure built as part of the monument. These locations within the Alhambra will allow us to understand a little more about the history of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada.

We'll also visit the outside of the Palace of Charles V, which, unlike the characteristic Arab decoration of the Alhambra, stands out for its aesthetics that combines Baroque and Renaissance details.

About 2 to 3 hours after the start of the activity, we'll part ways inside the Alhambra. At the end of the tour, with your ticket, you can visit the inside of the Palace of Charles V.

Itinerary Order

Please note that, for organisational reasons, the order described in this itinerary may vary, but in any case, entry to the Generalife and its gardens, the Alcazaba and the Palace of Charles V is always included.

Partial Closures

For safety reasons, the Alcazaba will be closed to visitors until further notice.

Nasrid Palaces & Private Tour

If you want to visit the entire site, you can book the guided tour of the Alhambra and the Nasrid Palaces, which includes access to the famous Patio de los Leones (Lions' Courtyard) and other iconic spots within these royal palaces.

If you wish to explore the most visited monument in Spain accompanied by a guide just for you, then we recommend our private tour of the Alhambra.

Availability

The daily number of tickets to the Alhambra is limited, so we recommend making your reservation as far in advance as possible, especially on weekends, long weekends, and holidays. Although it does not usually happen, it is possible that availability may be limited after you have made your booking. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative date.
