Inaugurated in 1989 to commemorate the city's 100th anniversary, this building was built as a symbol of modernity expanding across the region. Its innovative design in the shape of a triangular prism, covered in 8000 mirrors, turns this tower into an architectural icon that reflects both the sky and sea. With this ticket, you'll get to go up to the SKY View 123 observation deck, 123 metres (403 feet) above the ground, from which you can take in the breathtaking views of Fukuoka and the ocean. The sights are spectacular!
After enjoying your time on the observation deck, the SKY Play 116 awaits you! On this entertainment floor, you'll be able to take incredible photos and, for an additional cost, take part in interactive games like the popular Sky Gacha. Additionally, this room features a romantic corner known as the “Lovers' Sanctuary”, the perfect spot for couples looking for a special memory.
The Fukuoka Tower observation deck is open Monday to Sunday from 9:30 am to 10 pm. Please note that final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
Although you can spend as much time as you wish in the tower, the visit is approximately 1 hour long.
Please note that tickets for children aged 4-5 must be purchased directly at the ticket office.
