Stand Up Paddle, also known as SUP, or Paddleboarding, originated in the Pacific Islands, where it was a means of getting around. Then around 1960, it was used by surf instructors, so they could check on their students better.
If you've practised paddleboarding before and you already know what you're doing, or you want to learn by yourself, you can also rent all the equipment you'll need. You'll be able to enjoy the one and a half hours of paddling in the sea putting into practice the different techniques for paddling stretched out, kneeling, getting up, crouching down, entering or leaving the water.
This sport has become super popular over recent years and plenty of celebrities have been spotted trying it out: Pierce Brosnan, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Anniston, Matt Damon, Shakira, Gerard Piqué and Lewis Hamilton are just some examples.
