If you're in Herculaneum and want to get to Mount Vesuvius, this is the most comfortable and practical way to get to there!
Vesuvius is one of the most famous volcanoes in Italy and a must-see in the Campania region. If you're in Herculaneum, you can hop on this transfer to Mount Vesuvius and go and see it for yourself!
At the indicated time, the Vesuvio Express bus will depart from Ercolano Scavi station. After just 30 minutes of travel, you'll arrive at the entrance of the Vesuvius National Park. You'll then be able to enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore the park at your leisure!
During the visit, you'll be able to discover all of the natural riches of the national park, while also learning about the history of the volcanic activity of Mount Vesuvius.
A visit to Mount Vesuvius would not be complete without climbing up to the crater. Situated at about 1200 metres (nearly 4000 feet), this point offers unbeatable views of the Bay of Naples. Don't forget your camera!
Finally, you'll have to be back on the bus that'll take you back to Herculaneum 3 hours after pickup.
