Delve into the past and discover Ancient Greece on a 4-day trip to Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora accompanied by an English-speaking guide. On the tour, we'll also stop at other important sites.
Tour Details
Day 1
After collecting you from your hotel in Athens, we'll head west on a comfortable coach until you reach the Corinth Canal, one of the most impressive man-made canals in the world.
Afterwards, continue the journey southwards to Epidaurus. Here, visit its Ancient Theatre, which is beautifully preserved and has surprising acoustics.
Hop back on the bus and continue the tour to Mycenae, one of the oldest centers of Greek civilization and now home to one of the most famous archaeological sites.
Our day will finish in a hotel in Olympia, where we'll have dinner. Before going to bed, we'll be able to explore Olympia at your leisure.
Day 2
The second day of the tour starts with a visit to the archaeological site of Olympia, which accommodates breathtaking landmarks, including the altar where the Olympic Torch is lit and the Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place. Throughout the visit, your guide will reveal interesting information about it.
Leaving behind Olympia, we'll make our way to Antirrio and following the coastal road we'll reach Delphi, once considered the center of the world, where we'll spend the night.
Day 3
After breakfast, explore the archaeological remains of Delphi and discover one of the most important sites in Europe. Next, visit the Archaeological Museum of the city, home to countless items discovered in the excavations.
After spending a fun-filled day at Delphi, we'll head to Kalambaka, a scenic village located at the feet of enormous sandstone rock formations that are crowned with the monasteries of Meteora. We'll spend the third night here.
Day 4
On the last day, we'll be driven to the mysterious mountain tops of Meteora bright and early to visit stunning 11th-century monasteries that hang off its cliffs. Depending on availability and opening hours, we'll normally visit 2 monasteries, either St. Stephen (Aghios Stefanos), Varlaam, Gran Meteoro, or Rousanou.
During the return ride to Athens, we'll stop at Thermopylae to admire the Statue of King Leonidas.
Depending on the traffic, we'll arrive back in Athens between 6:30 pm and 7 pm.

Important Note
Please be aware that on April 11 and 12, 2026, several historical sites, including Olympia, will be closed due to a public holiday.
