Join us on a hiking adventure to Praia Grande and Janela do Paraíso, two breathtaking locations in the state of Rio de Janeiro. This activity is a must-do for those looking to discover the stunning coastline of Arraial do Cabo.
Praia Grande & Janela do Paraíso Hiking Tour
We'll start our hike through Praia Grande and Janela do Paraíso at 8 am. We'll gather next to the Flávia Alessandra statue located on the west coast of Arraial do Cabo, ready to explore two of the most beautiful spots in Rio de Janeiro!
Our hiking trail is 4.6 kilometers (2.8 miles) long and will first lead us to Praia Grande, one of the most popular bays in town. The turquoise waters and white sand of this bay create a stunning contrast, making it a highly Instagrammable spot.
Next, we'll head over to fishermen's pier located at the southern end of Praia Grande. This traditional spot with small sailor houses and boats is not frequented by tourists, making it a hidden gem.
Our next stop will be Bomba, known for being one of the best diving spots in the region. We'll also visit Janela do Paraíso, an abandoned building with windows that offer an incredible panoramic view of the Arraial do Cabo coast. Truly breathtaking!
As we continue our hiking route, we'll visit other viewpoints like Vigia or Pedra Mágica, until we reach the Gruta do Céu sea cave. Here, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to swim and sunbathe at Selvagem beach.
Finally, we'll conclude the activity at 12 noon back at the starting point next to the Flávia Alessandra statue.
