Wadden Sea Cruise and Seal Safari

After meeting at the indicated time at Amsterdam River Cruise Dock, taking a vehicle from here to the coast of the Wadden Sea. During this 90-minute bus trip, you'll enjoy Holland's rural beauty filled with farms, little villas, and of course the famous windmills.

Once we reach the coast, we'll board a ship to enjoy a peaceful 3-hour boat trip on the Frisian Sea. Due to its unique coastal wetlands and tidal system, it is a refuge for many animals, especially marine mammals such as seals and porpoises. It's so special that it has been declared a World Heritage Site.

The Wadden Sea, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, is a crucial stop for millions of migratory birds. Plus, it's a calm sea with almost no risk of waves. During the cruise, we'll sail along the famous surrounding levee between North Holland and Friesland, which protects the lowlands from flooding.

The boat trip will end in the same harbor from which we set sail. Back on land, we'll pass through the beautiful 17th-century village of Twisk. You'll have free time to stroll through the charming narrow streets, visit the windmill, the brewery, the castle, shop or have a bite to eat.

From Medemblik, we'll finally begin our drive back to Amsterdam, where we'll say goodbye after a 6-hour trip.
